Ice Bucket Satanic Ritual?
Ice Bucket Satanic Ritual? LMFAO Is there anything that religious people (christians) won't latch on to in order to preach their fear-based nonsense?? LOL I honestly paid 0% attention to the whole "Ice Bucket" gimmick, didn't even know what it was about... but now that religions have decided to attach themselves to it... there's no way I can avoid it anymore. So, this rant will be more about the Christian perception of the media hyped Ice Bucket event. (If 'they' wanted a public cure for ALS, we would have it already).
The Ice Bucket Challenge is to throw a bucket of ice water on yourself or give a donation towards ALS, often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease." The really sad part about this is, with medicinal marijuana, we could cure most of the disease found in the world... but I don't hear any religious people defending the use of this "God-Given" herb.
Religions are using this Ice Bucket nonsense to spread more fear about their imaginary Ex-Angel Satan. I have heard Christians make the claim that giving a donation towards ALS will help fund Embryonic Stem Cell Research... what most Christians would consider to be pro-abortion behavior.
When it comes to using this excuse of abortion where they say, "it's not just a blob, it's not just tissue, it's a life with potential," etc... I ask Christians: "If you're so concerned with newly conceived potential life... how do you justify eating eggs?"
Yet, at the end of the day... it's always the fault of Satan or Man, never their God (who created Satan and Man). And all you have to do is pray to God and all will be just fine for you in the end. Don't worry about anyone else but yourself and your God, HE has it all under control, right?
Perceiving the world and everything in it that way complies with self-centered, ignorant, destructive behavior. Christians claim this Ice Bucket event is actually "evil done under the guise of good"... when they should really look at their own religion and consider that claim again. ALS may be a progressive neuro-degenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain, but Religion is truly the first mental disease.
